Middle Octorara Presbyterian Women (M.O.P.W.) sponsors the following:

• Ware Presbyterian Village (Oxford) Birthday Party in July
• Turkey Supper in October
• Annual Holiday Bazaar in November
• Thanksgiving Eve Service
• Secret Sister Program
• Prayer and Stitch Club

In addition they have soup and sub sales, provide funeral luncheons, activity bags for children to use during the morning worship service, baby gift bags for new babies in the congregation, collect items for Christmas for Families and provide funds for the church flower bed.

Lenten Tea

Bring your favorite teacup and join Middle Octorara Presbyterian Women at their Annual Lenten Tea on Saturday,  March 27, 2010.  The tea will begin at 2:00 p.m at the church along Rt. 372, 4 miles east of Quarryville.  The program will be provided by Becky Welk with the Solfege Singers.  Reservations should be make by March 17th by calling Nancy Harnish at 717-786-6872. A free will offering will be taken. 

The Middle Octorara Presbyterian Women gather three times a month from September to June in what we call Circle meetings.  At these meetings we study God's word, have fellowship and fun.  Please consider joining one of our groups.  You may come to as little or as many of these meetings as you wish.  They last anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours and are not limited to just church members; lots of friends, family and neighbors come also.  Below are the days and times of each circle: 

Circle #1 meets the second Tuesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. at the church.  They are currently studying the book "Cultivating Contentment."

Circle #2 meets the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the church.  They are currently studying "Living Above Worry and Stress." 

Circle #3 meets the third Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the church.  They are currently studying "The Purpose Driven Life."
